It was a great end to 2022, and an exciting beginning to 2023 for TerraGo!

At the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, we had a lot of interesting and productive conversations with city leaders from around the world. To cap off a great event, TerraGo and the City of Chicago were honored with the World Smart City Award. The award recognized Chicago’s deployment of TerraGo StreetlightOps to accelerate energy savings, reduce CO2 emissions, increase operational efficiency, and improve citizen services. From over 300 entries from over 60 countries around the world, our project was selected as the winner of the Energy & Environment category!

TerraGo also sponsored and exhibited at Itron Inspire in Marco Island. Our President & CEO, Dave Basil, was invited to speak on a conference panel with Exelon’s Baltimore Gas & Electric to discuss lessons learned and how they used TerraGo software to streamline operations. We attended Smart Cities Connect right here at home in D.C., and then made our way to Dallas for an amazing experience at the Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC).

TerraGo is gearing up for a busy conference calendar this year, which kicked off with Distributech in San Diego from February 7-9, where we had the chance to share demos of our GridOps and StreetlightOps software platforms. We’re looking forward to attending even more industry events coming up, and we hope to see you on the road in 2023!
