TerraGo exhibited and spoke at the Smart Cities Connect conference in Denver, where we were honored to win our fifth Smart 50 Award! We received this award with our partners from Exelon, Baltimore Gas & Electric, for their use of TerraGo’s StreetlightOps software in their deployment of over a quarter-million smart streetlights across their entire service territory.  TerraGo’s software gives BGE full life cycle management of their lighting infrastructure, including five integrated modules for planning, inventory, installation, maintenance, and work orders, and helps reduce operations and maintenance (O&M) costs during installation, leveraging the capital investment of the deployment program.

We were also invited to speak on a panel, where TerraGo’s Dave Reiff spoke, along with former City of Chicago Deputy Commissioner Michael Buchanan (retired) about the award-winning results that have come from Chicago’s use of the TerraGo platform. TerraGo previously won a Smart 50 Award for our work in Chicago, and most recently, the City of Chicago’s deployment of TerraGo’s streetlight operations software was selected as the winner of a 2022 World Smart City Award, presented by the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) in Barcelona, Spain.

The TerraGo team will be returning to the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona this Fall, as well as Itron Inspire, and SALC. You can catch us exhibiting and speaking at all three of these industry events. Hope to see you on the road soon!
