Previously, he held leadership roles at Progress Energy (now Duke Energy), overseeing advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) solution evaluation and deployment. He also managed international outdoor lighting solutions at Sensus, where he engaged utilities across Europe with smart lighting platforms.

With a career dedicated to advancing utility operations, Nobles has authored numerous publications and presented at industry-leading conferences. He is an active member of the IEEE and EEI and serves on the CTIA Smart Cities Steering Committee. Nobles holds a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Duke University, as well as an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

“I’m excited to join TerraGo at such a transformational time for the utility industry,” said Nobles. “Utilities are navigating unprecedented challenges and opportunities, and I look forward to working alongside our customers to deliver software solutions that help them make the leap to smarter, more reliable, and more collaborative operations.”
