TerraGo attended the DGI 2020 Conference in London, England from January 20-22, 2020. The event was well attended by almost 700 distinguished delegates from around the world. While not the traditional GEOINT conference event held in the United States every year, there were smaller, much more intimate sessions of very useful content for the global intelligence community.
Some of the highlights were NGA Director, Vice Admiral Robert Sharp’s NGA Keynote on Guiding Principles for the Ongoing Transformation of Geospatial Intelligence, and Mr. Ian Spencer, Head of Foundation GEOINT for the National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence, UK MoD who spoke about Automation and Foundation GEOINT: Evolution or Revolution. Mr. Gary Blohm, Director of the US Army Geospatial Center & US Army GIO also shared details of his organizational support to the warfighter community and how geospatial information is being propagated across multiple programs in the US Army through efforts at AGC.
“This is the first time I’ve attended the DGI event and was very pleased with the quality and quantity of engagements during the conference” said Dave Basil, TerraGo CEO.
Senior executives, GEOINT analysts and users of TerraGo’s technology were available for one on one discussions and sharing their success stories using GeoPDF® products. Several new introductions during the event have given us an opportunity to share our technology and technology roadmap to a very diverse group of GEOINT creators and users.
We definitely look forward to staying in contact with our new partners and another exciting event at DGI 2021!
